Vocalis follows a simple four-step flow for every conversation. The whole process — from creating your first AI agent to reviewing results — can be done by a business user in plain English. No developers needed.

The flow

1

Set up an AI Actor

Create an AI interviewer by walking through four quick steps in the platform:
  1. Actor — Give it a name and choose the voice and conversational style.
  2. Purpose — Write the instructions that tell the AI what to ask and how to behave.
  3. Insights — Define what data you want to pull out of the conversation (scores, key answers, etc.).
  4. Reports — Configure how results are summarized after the call.

2

Create a meeting

Click Create Meeting and follow three simple steps:
  1. Choose Variant — Pick the AI Actor (or a specific variant) that should run this interview.
  2. Meeting Configuration — Choose the meeting channel (Google Meet or Phone Call), set the date and time, and adjust any settings.
  3. Select Participants — Add the candidate(s) who will be interviewed.

The AI joins and runs the interview

At the scheduled time, the AI Actor joins the Google Meet call (or dials the candidate’s phone). It introduces itself, asks questions, listens to responses, and follows up naturally. The entire conversation uses real-time voice — no text chat, no pre-recorded audio.
4

Review insights and results

After the call ends, Vocalis gives you:
  • Full transcript of the conversation
  • Extracted insights — scores, key answers, and structured data pulled from what the candidate said
  • Assessment summary based on the evaluation criteria you set up
Your team reviews everything in the Vocalis dashboard and decides next steps.

Multi-stage pipelines

You can set up multiple AI Actors for different interview stages. A typical hiring pipeline might look like:
Candidate applies

Stage 1: Phone Screen AI Actor (15 min)
    ↓ qualified candidates advance
Stage 2: Technical Interview AI Actor (30 min)
    ↓ passing candidates advance
Stage 3: Culture Fit AI Actor (20 min)
    ↓ final candidates advance
Stage 4: Reference Check AI Actor (10 min)

Hiring decision
Each stage uses a purpose-built AI Actor with its own questions, evaluation criteria, and insights. Candidates experience a natural conversation at every stage — and your team gets structured, comparable data from every call.

The complete value loop

What makes Vocalis different from both human callers and other platforms is that it delivers both parts of the loop: Conduct the conversation + Extract structured intelligence The call without insights is just automation. The insights without the call require human effort upstream. Vocalis does both — and that is the product.
